ValuMed Pharmacy specializes in nursing home and assisted living medication dispensing systems. Along with the dispensing of medication to the resident comes the responsibility of monitoring and consulting to the care facility. We are also committed to providing a wide range of pharmaceutical services at the most cost effective price. ValuMed Pharmacy cares about your family member and our personal service is second to none.

COST-EFFECTIVE CARE

Through medication management by our consulting pharmacists, we continuously monitor the patient medications to ensure the patient is getting the expected benefit from the dosage. We can suggest dosage adjustments and suggest discontinuation of medications that are no longer needed.

As well as lowering medication costs through medication management, the consultant pharmacist also can reduce overall health-care costs by reducing emergency room visits and hospital admissions due to drug related problems.

We take care of all your billing including Medicare Part B, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, private prescription insurance, and private pay sources.

FacilityLink - This connectivity tool gives the staff at the facilities we service the ability to view and maintain patient profiles, place drug orders, maintain non-drug orders, and print their own medical records, all with nothing more than a browser and a connection to the Internet. If FacilityLink is used exclusively, the use of faxed orders becomes obsolete.
Clear, easy to read laser printed medical records, treatment sheets, anti-psychotic flow sheets, and boundless reporting capabilities to better manage the nursing facility.
Thermal laser printed prescription labeling with tablet imprint codes and NDC numbers to assist nursing with medication verification. This feature provides an added level of safety to ensure the proper medication is administered.
Bar code re-ordering system allowing fast and easy communication with pharmacy while increasing patient confidentiality.
30 or 31 day dispensing systems offering time pass color coding, tamper evident packaging, and calendar day filling to assist nursing. Our packaging also offers increased sanitation and easier medication verification over competing unit dose systems.
On-site billing enabling patients and families easy access to account information and pricing questions. Patients will not have to call a billing department in another state to get a question answered!
Most insurance plans accepted **Including Medicare Part-D Plans** - If we are not a provider, we will work hard to become one for your insurance plan.
Straightforward, no-nonsense invoicing - We provide an extremely clean, easy to maneuver invoice provided early in the month for facilities to process and patients to review.
